Constant Crashes
In 10 hours of play, the game has crashed on me at least ten times, and I am now at the point where I'm done playing this game, unless someone can help.

I have a decent rig, Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB DDR5, Radeon 6800XT.

Set to auto quality.

Any ideas?

AMD hardware is known to randomly crash with engine errors on this game, i have the same problem, it can be anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours before i might see a crash, sometimes i don’t get any at all

Yeah, thinking that's the issue. Seeing multiple incidents of this problem online with AMD builds.

I'm glad I'm not alone, but I'm sad it's a recurring problem for us. I have an AMD build here as well: Ryzen 5 5600X and RX 6600. Both CPU and GPU run at a cool 60-62ºC, and both don't work very hard at Low preset settings. I crash anytime from 5-45 minutes at a time. Graphics, CPU, and mobo drivers are up-to-date.

Well... this worked. I did an old Overwatch trick that had the same problem by using an older driver version for my RX 6600 and I think most other RX series: Adrenalin 23.11.1. I won't link here but just do a search for your card in your favorite search engine and add "previous drivers" to the query.

Doesn't make this issue right, but there just seems to be a small number of games that seem to break with new AMD graphics driver updates.
So is this a driver issue? Have none on my brand new Rog Ally

Going to try this later today, my RX 5700 XT likes to crash anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours in for the most banal things, and it makes multiplayer pretty frustrating. Will update this post with results when I finish testing.

Cool. Good luck! And if it works for you, too, then don't forget to lichen chair. :celeste_strawberry:

100+ hours and I never got a crash, might be driver/system specific. Nvidia user here

Apologies, just got the chance to test. Acquired the older driver, ripped out the newer drivers, cleaned out the leftover files, installed 23.11.1. Sadly, it crashed about 30 minutes in while slapfighting a holy bulwark in the manse of the hallowed brothers. :winter2019sadbulb:
