theres a statue mid way in the depths around a corner, use the putrid mothers embrace emote, some eerie music will start playing. my guess is to light all the lights in the depths which will make more music (theres a certain order in which you have to light them up). after that idk

I was locked out for the umbral armor set after turning 6 torches blue, frustrating I have to say.

A question for the ones that had activated the fires before and not having the emote reinitialise them and start the quest :

I thought I had lit all "torches" but in fact forgot the one near the depth elevator.

Could that be the condition to the bug?
(I of course lit it afterward but didn't resolve the issue).

Curious to see if it is the case for the others experiencing the bug as it may help identifying the cause and get a solution/fix quicker.

yes - same things happened to about 50% of people, we are waiting for a patch - given the timing, we might be waiting a few weeks

I lit 6 torches and then was pulled in to someone else game to assist and when I came back the music was gone and none of the remaining torches turned blue. They need to fix this ♥♥♥♥. I have looked the other way with so many other issues with this game but when is enough, enough?

I lit before, i beat the game but i'm still in first playtrough - doesn't work for me. Radiant and Rhogar works perfectly.
