Now, don't get me wrong, it's really funny to hit a Flame Enchantress who's supposed to be resistant to fire with a fireball that deals 800 damage, but it makes me scratch my head that the best way to do that is to NOT use the inferno equipment.
First One, is dual wielding corrupted Judge cleric swords. Best Umbral catalyst, 2 rings, one allow you to cast inferno spells, the other radiance. Took all the buffs spells, Aura of tenacity, Adyr rage, Ardyr hardiness, invigorating Aura and any weapon buffs spells(bleed/bless/inferno). Bought 300 mana stones, or just grab as many large ones.
As long as I don't stand idly and fight normaly, Elliane can't kill me.
Then I tried 2 handling Executioner Axe, Best inferno catalyst, a ring that cast radiance spells and 2 handed damage ring. One heavy shield with mana regen runes.
But it took way way longer to kill her with dual wield weapons.
LOL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fkowqz2m_h0
But in COOP, somehow it is more fun probably the bosses have more HP so it take a while and the danger is more real.
Corrupted Judge Cleric swords seem way better than almost anything else I've used so far. I'm making another character that's pure faith with no inferno and I'll probably still end up running the Corrupted sword near the end it's that good. Another thing I think they could improve is that despite the comparatively large variety of weapons in the game, most are ♥♥♥♥. There's a few that really shine so hard that everything else is mathematically irrelevant. There's no reason to fight the Proselyte at the start of the game to get the Raw Mangler axe because the Raw Mangler axe is ♥♥♥♥ and you're going to have 10 of them drop by the end of the playthrough given that Raw Manglers are as numerous as dogs.
Even something as difficult and rare to get as the Bringer of Stillness swords are mathematically bad. I farmed them both out for an hour and a half to +9 them and find out that Vanguard Barros' Sword which I had after the Fen was statistically better. A waste of an hour and a half at the end of the day. There's so many cool and thematically appropriate weapons that are just so statistically lackluster. I remember picking up Hallowed Condemnation and thinking "This would be so great for a Roman style character" only to carry it around all game because the Udirangr Warwolf Sword hit twice as hard until I found the Crimson Rector sword. Even +10 Hallowed Condemnation has C+ scaling in STR and AGI. Juge Cleric's Corrupted sword is a better quality build weapon than Hallowed Condemnation and it's not even a quality build weapon.
They really need to revisit damage and scaling values, or there's just no point for 90% of the weapons in the game to even exist, as cool as they all are.
This isn't saying the Cleric sword needs a nerf, either. I think that other less relevant weapons need a buff.
It's the same as turning difficulty down to very easy and then complain game is too easy.
I rest my case.
Do you even read what you type, or do you even remember what you've typed?
Waa waa, game too easy, make everything else also too easy.
♥♥♥♥, I better get on that before they patch it out, lol. That actually sounds like FUN!
Edit: Yooooooooo it actually works! That's dope, now I don't have to drop trade with randos or scam one of my buddies into buying this game before it's worth the money.
You don't even have to die intentionally, I was fighting for my life and it seems like PvP just reloads the store stock.
2. Why dont you offer to play without weapon? It will make game harder
3. If I have instruments in game, I am using all of it. It is dev problem to balance it. I dont see any point to make game harder for myself, it is not my job, it is dev job.
