How do you farm umbral scourings efficiently?

Hi,

I want to collect all items from remembrances. As far as I know, I will lose remembrances if I start a new game, so I need to collect everything under my current playthrough to prepare for NG+.
As far as I know you can only collect umbral scrourings the following ways:
- Using Soul Flay on Stigmas - but only works for single time per playthrough on each one of them.
- Killing bosses - few of them give umbral scrourings also.
- Hunting Red Reapers in umbral realm.
- Avenge fallen players via red lantern (you can buy scourings from eyeballs).

The first two option is greyed out since I've completed my current playthrough but I could buy stuff only from half of remembrances fully.
Red reapers could be the fastest way, but that's quite risky, still, which one do you prefer?

When this game first launched, COOP was the best way to earn umbral scouring, I must have earned thousands that way, got myself all the items from remembrances and gave some to others, still got some on me, incase anyone needs, feel free to add me and I will see what I can do for you.

The 2 best methods to farm scourings are either completing the game and entering NG+1 to have the option to reset the game at any time, or to hook up with a speed runner farming bosses back to back in Co-Op. The first option is faster as you can off the first 3 bosses, maybe 4 if you're going after the limited multiplayer boost items and offing the Scarlet Shadow at least once every NG+ cycle. Then just reset to NG+ at a vestige. Have like 4,000+ ATM and wasn't trying to farm them specifically. Also used well over 2,000. So figure around 6,000 scourings in around 300 hours of playtime on my main character. There are faster methods to get them, but that comes down to how you choose to play. I've taken drops from other players but always end up deleting those characters. Creates an incentives issue for me taking them. To each their own.

True, I earned mine mainly from coop, never taken from anyone but will drop them to anyone, because I had time and patience to play and farm, I was fortunate to have acquired as many as I did.

But unfortunately, many people don't have that luxury of having spare time at hand due to circumstances, like two jobs, long hours or having kids etc etc.

So I try to help as many as I can, that's all anyone of us can do really.

I have to say that these tokens are really annoying, you can easily collect pvp tokens, but collecting umbral and coop tokens takes too long

you only get them from bosses and memories. in coop you might get additional . If you're at the end of the game and are missing some, you could make a new char and get some more they share them.

You mean by avenging other players by soulflaying lanterns, right? Yes I bought many from the shrine that way.

The most efficient way to do it is not to farm them at all, and to use 3rd party software that violates the use agreement. Not that I would recommend doing that, of course.

No you wont lose them when going into NG+. I never farmed any and i got everything + a few hundred of them to spare. But i did only NG+0 going for the achievements i didnt do +1.

One of the most efficient place for red lantern farm is Fitzroy's Gorge, before the area of Crimson Rector Percival. Last time when I was farming, 8 out of 10 times I saw a red lantern there, many player died in that area. You just have to put down a vestige in the umbral flowers and run out until the corner to see if the lantern is there or not.

I just don't understand the thing I got 3 plucked eyeball all the time, but I saw a video on the internet where someone completed a red lantern while did some guide and he received 150 plucked eyeballs from a single lantern.
