Can't use umbral lamp

I can't seem to use my umbral lamp via my gamepad (xbox controller). It doesn't register LT input for the lamp or throwing hand. It works just fine in the menu. Does anyone have an idea what I could do to fix this?

Try disabling Steam input. That worked for me.

Nevermind, I'm an idiot. My controller has a sensitivity setting for the triggers and the left was set to low... thanks for the advice though =)
