I don't think anyone can really give you a good answer you want.
Try not to play more than 2 hrs.
Scratch that, third boss lol
If you dont want to die over and over again then i think this type of game are not for you.
I started with buckets, 1st boss is the hardest
Definately Yes
"is there a way to get stronger if something is at your current level to hard to kill?"
No, not really. You can try invite someone to duo play, which makes it a bit easier.
"...dont wanne get frustrated by dying over and over."
Then do not buy, this game is very frustrating and annoying.
I'd say it's a lot easier than Elden Ring.
Also, you can grind a bit if you need some levels.
Easy peasy. Want easy mode? Just go through the first boss, get the Pieta sword/bloody glory and lightbeam, increase your faith and destroy everything in the name of Jesus
This is literally the easiest soulslike I've ever played, idk how anyone can compare it to elden ring. Everything this person said is completely wrong to the point it's probably a troll post.
Maybe the last part is somewhat accurate, but that's just standard for the genre. You're supposed to die frequently and learn from your mistakes.
Remind yourself that, how you play the game and how you experience the game, is yours alone. Even if what I said is true for me, it ain't true for you.
If you're casual, don't buy this game. I'm a huge fan of this genre and I've spent almost as much time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about game design in the discussions as I have playing the game. The game felt fine to me in the first area, up until I got past the first boss. I found Pieta pretty difficult the first time while I learned the game tempo and learned how to compensate for the frame issues that are present, but by that point my refund window had closed. The area after you reach the central hub is basically a platforming game with a much jankier control scheme than Elden Ring. I died probably 20 times going through that area alone. The game is definitely not a casual experience and I would rate it as being much less forgiving than Elden Ring.
Getting stronger is mostly tied to weapon upgrade levels, so he's not really out of pocket by saying there isn't really a way to get stronger if something at your current level is giving you difficulty. At the start of the game, most stuff you have doesn't have good or even decent scaling until it's +6 or higher and you don't get large Deralium shards until much later into the game. Pumping 20 levels into a stat isn't really a huge improvement until your weapon can actually make use of the scaling increase in power.
I would say "This is literally the easiest soulslike I've ever played" is probably much closer to "completely wrong to the point it's probably a troll post."
