Does gestures even work with ps4 dualshock controller?

For some reason, no matter to what button I change the select button, it does nothing.
Every other controller function works on any button, but the select function does nothing, which should be gestures, at least I can use the keyboard G for it.
Guess I'm just gonna put the keyboard button G on the left trackpad.

You mean where you can bring up the list and taunt and such? Works for me on an XBone controller.

Yeah doesn't work for me anymore. Tried defaulting the gamepad, but nope. Before it worked, but I didn't use it for a long time, till after beating the game and restarting the run, and wanted to do the bucket man questline.
Well at least I could remap the touchpad to G. I'll keep the share/select in case it's needed for something.
No idea why the select function doen't bring up the gesture anymore. (the buttons themselves work, just select itself, the signal doesn't translate to gestures menu anymore)

Can you check what your layout looks like for share and left trackpad? You don't have to go into the game, just in library for the game controller settings - view layout.

I'm using an xbox controller. I just press the "start" button.

Sure that yeah, but what does it look like for ya in the layout, in steam controller settings for this game, no need to go into the game. That is if you use steam input. With a recent controller update for steam, they added a new setting, which is on by default that disabled steam input if the game has native controller support, but that's lel no for me, because natively you can't turn off the stupid light on the controller.

For me it's Share - Select and Left Trackpad - Select. (Well for Left Tackpad for me it's now G instead of Select, as select doesn't do anything)

Also tried disabling the steam input, and still nothing. Dunno guess their patch broke something for ps4 controllers. The button itself works, if I remap any other function for it, but if I put select to any other button, then still no gesture menu.
