Cannot cleanse the Empyrean beacon

I've cleansed other 4 beacons, and when I'm in front of the Empyrean beacon, there's no choice for me to purify the beacon. What should I do next?

Did you beat the sundered mornach wihout cleansing any beacon? That could be the reason as it activated 2 different endings, Umbral and Adyr.
