What sort of stats should i be leveling up as someone not very good at these games

I really love the aesthetic and i'm enjoying the opening areas so far. I know at some point i'm going to hit a wall....

Im not that good at these types of games but i still enjoy playing them. Are there any specific stats i should focus on early game to avoid a broken build or to make my game much easier?

I'd say get your vitality up to 40, then worry about damage stats like str, agi, inf, and rad

Game is piss easy anyway, bosses fall like flies, mostly ganks of common thugs hiding in ambush will kill you. Level whatever you want it doesnt matter much. Spells are limited in use, so weapons will be used more, but sure level some health first and endurance.

for the easiest time choose a radiant or inferno magic build and level up those stats as well as getting vitality to 40 and endurance to 25.

This is something i didn't expect - which is probably why i'm so bad at these games.

Get vitality to 20 or 40 asap. Then put points into stats you need for gear.

It's the one thing i'm actually good at in this game!
Then i'm also trying to take it slow with some of the other stronger enemies.

The guy with the fire sword sometimes still trips me up. I tend to get a bit carried away wailing on him and end up allowing him to get too many hits in versus just getting off a few strikes and then re-gaining composure
