Recommended level for NG+1

What level should I be before I start a NG+1? Also is Co Op still possible at high level NG+1 or NG+2

I started and beat NG+1 at lvl 140, umbral build with radiant buffs. You don't need a super high, OP level to go through NG+ really, just a good build.

I've noticed zero co op at lvl 220ish on ng+1. The only thing i get summoned for with a long que time is the end game umbral ending fight.
