Error 887A0006 since launch, is the game abandoneware when it comes to performance??
Hello, I've been getting a fatal crash since launch and can't play more than 5-20 minutes at best before it crashes. I've read up that this is related to DX12 and AMD, but I assumed that the devs would fix this pretty major issue early. I was wrong and none of the patches seem to mention this error either. So my question is, has the game's performance staff been laid off? Is the game abandonware already? I can't play and I can't refund it either cause I've played in too many 20 minute bursts. Shame cause the game is fun, but runs like absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Specs:
6800XT
32GB DDR4 ram
5900x
WIN10
Latest drivers

if the game struggles on a 4090 then said 4090 is the worst unit out there. I get around 100+ FPS on high, 60-80 on Ultra. I just can't play for more than 5-20 minutes.

Crashes on AMD GPU's are related to Nanite and some meshes.

AMD is completely silent on it. They aren't even acknowledging this is an issue, possible consumers aren't even warned that 6XXX and 7XXX is are completely incompatible with several DX12 applications. If you force DX11 via argument these crashes go away completely, which makes AMD cards... literally valueless for UE5.1 user

Yeah I realized that cause I've heard ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about this. I'm going to sell the GPU and just never buy AMD again, real shame.
Weird, didn't performance threads actually disappear from the face of the planet?

It's strange to see people keep complaining, while their moans and sobs echo in the void as the official performance thread has been archived by devs.

How comes, that my 5800X3D + 7900XTX works flawlessly?
Performance has gotten much better in some of the last patches.

I'm on Linux and playing with Proton GE 8. Does it force DX11?

if it works bad then try linux for boost in performance. windows overhead is stealing too much fps.

Lol AMD has been ready for DX12 since the HD 6xxx cards way-back in 2010.
The programmers and and piss poor implementation on pc is pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥....also all the consoles are AMD and thay run fine apart from choppy frame rates on lower end consoles.
So sure blame AMD :steamfacepalm:

Hi,
I had the same prolem and it's a scandal that nobady take an offical positon on that.
My setup :
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
B550-A PRO
16 Go DDR4
AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

With multiple try i find my solution :
Uninstal my graphic driver with DDU
Instal the last AMD graphic driver only without Catalyst.

Now i can play several hours without crash.
I hope it will work for those that give it a try.
