LOTF had so many issues, a lot of people couldn't finish the game due to crashes, bugs, data corruption etc.
LOTF skimped out on QA and used players that bought the game day one, to find bugs, performance issues, glitches etc. Used all that feedback, and made the game a little better. So now, they put discount to lure even more people.
Wouldn't it be... at least decent to wait 2-3 months before discounting the game? People who bought it day one got something really slimy and nasty into their mouth, with how buggy and bad the first experience was. And there is no respect for their wallet.
Alas it might be just me issue. I won't buy their future games, won't support them, and will spread the word to my friends and viewers to not support this company. Which is also the meaning of this post, don't respect people who don't respect you. Value your wallet and don't let people undeserving of support, have it.
I pre-ordered the deluxe edition and played it on day 1. I knew that this game was UE5 and expected to be left with a 70 bucks game that I couldn't even play. I did performance trouble-shooting, I didn't want to get a refund, and I was aware that in the case of failure, I had noone to blame but myself. And it paid off. Despite having to play it on the lowest graphics (still with constant stutters and lag), I got an experience that I thought was worth every cent.
People that buy games at full price are (or at least should be) aware of the possibility that the game might be bad (which is not the case here), that they won't like the game (which seems to be the case with you), that they could have technical difficulties, or that the game will go on sale after launch. Blaming the devs for you taking this risk sounds unbelievably unreasonable.
We all have janky games that we like but we can't really recommend to other people. Because they will either not like it, or the game simply won't work decently.
It's about basic rules and respect between dev's and us. Call me old or stupid but I still care about this sort of thing. Especially in gaming as it's my hobby and passion.
I simply don't respect studios that don't respect me/us. And I can't recommend something I don't respect.
I just considered the fact that it's a black friday sale and this entire post lost any meaning it ever could of had.
That's a nice argument, senator
Why don't you back it up with a source
