Is there an Umbral Scouring farm ?

Hi everyone!

I'm not sure how are we supposed to get enough Umbral Scouring.
Is there a new farm somewhere in the game ? I see that Reaper strat has been patched... :(

The issue with coop is that I get matched with people fighting bosses I have'nt seen yet. It's great that you can just spawn anywhere but it's a massive spoiler for me. Yesterday I got sent to the Reaper at the Gorge, the fight is awesome and I wish I didn't see that.

And the scarlets well... I guess I suck at this game ;).

So so farms other than that ?

nope , only thoses two , the rest are one time thing per playthrought

The fastest farm is prob just killing the red reapers youll also get some vigor/lvls wich is nice. just go kill enemies close to a seedling when the reaper spawns you kill it if you mess up run to your seed and heal up. Kill it after.
If you able to find coop matches thats better as you also get coins to buy your chunks or pve armor.
You can also speed run the first 3 bosses. so you reset your game you kill the fatguy and lightreaper at the start then run to pieta and reset after. thats 3 boss kills in like 10 minutes. Reset and repeat.

I found that farming Scarlet Shadow (Red Reaper) is best done in open spaces and low level areas. My best place was Shrine of Adyr in NG+0. Scarlet Shadow is not affected by area level but spawning Umbral enemies are so it makes it easier to focus on Scarlet Shadow.

My STR & RAD paladin build works great for farming Scarlet Shadow as I can heal myself via Invigorating Aura even when it spawns, and blocks your healing pot. Mana should not be an issue since you can farm a lot of large manastones from Womb of Despair that spawn while in Umbral. Physical or Holy damage works ok-ish on Scarlet Shadow. I prefer to use heavy hitting weapons because you can find decent openings after Scarlet Shadow performs its emerging attacks--just dodge and punish. Hexworks fixed the reaper so it no longer heals as long as you do not get him stuck somewhere or you run into safe area, which is usually near vestiges.

You can farm few Umbral scourings and a lot of vigor while staying in Umbral and constantly killing spawning enemies.
