Why do people not carry Vestige Seeds?

Like, I'll coop with someone through an ENTIRE ZONE, and not once do they lay down a vestige seed.

Then they get to the boss and shake their head because they can't put one down in the spot next to the boss room.

And then they die, and we have to run back ALL. THE. WAY.

Why? They're... like... 1500 each... you can carry 5

Probably new players. Later after learning the importance of Vestige seeds, I make sure I have enough.

when I'm in the same situation, I point with the lamp (insistently) the flowerbed for them to put a seed on it , most of the time , they do it , sometimes they dont , if they die , i leave.

Coop summon can make seeds? I tried a few times when cooping and it didn't work. I had to drop a seed for the host to pick it up and plant it.

I never have this problem... because I just give them a vestige seed. I drop them even when they don't need them, since you can only hold 5 and if you're sunbroing then you keep accumulating them from bosses and drops and they just get wasted anyway since you can't use them.
