Legit question. Proper souls likes offer alternatives to "covenant" items. if someone chooses not to play pvp but yet would still like the rewards they can grind them off certain enemies.
I don't think any of the three online currencies can be farmed outside of.
Invading - Severed Hand's (use finger's to increase drop amount)
Revenge - eyeballs
Co-op boss kills - coins
The rewards in this are only for partaking in the different online systems.
The armour isn't needed for the achievements anyways.
