Report a translation problem
I mean, you're running thru the castle, get the cloth, and shortly after - boom - there's the boss. "Oh wait a minute, I'll be back in a few while I deliver these obscure goods to progress a vague questline".
This game, while mostly excellent, is in desperate need of a quest log. Something should have notified me of a quest update the moment I picked up the cloth.
And map. While in general I have found my way around due to the linear design I think an actual map to SHOW how things are connected would help my immersion in the world and make things a lot less frustrating.
