HDR Extremely dark screen
Since the newest update, having HDR on has my screen at about 15% brightness. Only by turning it off does it return to normal. It completely darkens and fades everything out. Calibration does nothing. Any tips here?

HDR was working normally prior to this update. The weird part is, some games I play do have an issue on Windows 10 when you turn HDR on it greys/darkens the screen. I was happy that it didn't apply to LotF until now.

HDR has always been pretty crap in this game. To be fair it is kinda crap in a lot of games. I just stick with it off.

It is terrible, better with just autohdr on and disable hdr in game.

HDR looks fantastic on my PG27UQ after the update. Much more punchy looking than it was before. No difference with base brightness really, maybe a little brighter. No crushed blacks or anything like that and monitors brightness is normal, almost too bright.

It's a HDR1000 certified monitor and I used windows HDR calibration app to set up a calibrated color profile.

I really recommend everyone using HDR on windows to calibrate their display with the windows hdr calibration app. Just search for it o the microsoft store.

HDR is working fine for me in this game 1000nit local dimming. But don't like the overall changes made to it in recent patches. Almost looks to colorful at times. They have updated HDR twice now, but I think it looked better before they started changing it.

1. You gotta be using an actually decent HDR display, HDR600 absolute minimum. 2. Use the windows HDR calibration app

Sometimes it looks perfect but sometimes it is a bit too vibrant true. But overall I like it better than before the patch. Would be great if they would add more HDR settings besides just peak brightness and UI brightness.

For me the latest update also messed up HDR. Was working fine before but now the game is super dark when HDR is enabled.

Solution: Turning off HDR in the game settings and then restarting the game restored a playable state.

Running an LG 27GN50 with an RTX 3080.
