there is a range of players in every game , where you are in it doesnt matter , but the range exists : it begins with bad players and finish with best players the curve of that range hit the top more or less in the middle (average players).
If you can accept that some players are good , very good or even godlike , you must accept that the exact opposite exists too.
Nice write out. Still, what are the odds?
Well like in the other thread, no you don't need a map. The game is based on exploration and unlocking shortcuts.
However, this game can be confusing at first and navigating it is not easy. My first playthrough was completely backwards where I cleared Manse of Hallowed Brothers, Tower of Penance and pushed into Abbey before clearing Fief or Calrath.
I AGREE WITH YOU. This has nothing to do with a Troll.

I am running round in circles and watching and wasting my time watching Youtube videos to go to Manse of the Hallowed Brothers instead of playing the game. Honestly, this is a good game but with no direction and no map, it makes it so difficult.
I had to find the 3 beacons by watching Youtube videos. WHY?? Unbelievable.
WE NEED A MAP OR A GUIDE. PERIOD.
Each area in Lords of the Fallen is the size of the first castle in Elden Ring, and they are quite vast, taking approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours to explore.
I don't recommend rushing through the areas; it will be a nightmare. You should play in the "Clear the area and progress" mode, just like the first time you play a Dark Souls game.
Finally, Elden Ring had a map because it's an open world. No closed-world Dark Souls games like DS1, DS2, DS3, or Bloodborne had a map.
"Unfortunately, Elden Ring is one of the easier Souls games in the series. Its difficulty doesn't compare to the challenge presented by games like Sekiro, DS3, or Bloodborne. The only real challenge, of course, without using summons, is Malenia
I doubt map will ever be added as it would be just waste of time adding it late after release.
Anyway, here is simple progress as per my recollection:
Start:>
1. Defiled Sepulcher
2. Abandoned Redcopse
3. Skyrest Bridge
===First 3 areas are straight forward, just push forward===
4. Pilgrim's Perch
5. Forsaken Fen [Beacon]
===Areas 4 and 5 can be a bit tricky, make sure you explore everything in 5. Ignore any larger areas behind locked doors (Pilgrim's Perch Key)===
6. Fitzroy's Gorge
===Push forward, going left will lead to boss fight and shortcut, main progression is going right/straight around ravine toward Calrath
7. Lower Calrath
8. Upper Calrath [Beacon]
===Areas 7 and 8 are massive but you should be able to push forward. Always explore everything around permanent vestiges===
9. Sunless Skein
10. Cistern
===Before pushing further into Cistern, kill a boss Skinstealerto get a key to lower water level. After clearing Cistern, take elevator past the boss you already kill to get permanent vestige and open door===
11. Fief of the Chill Curse [Beacon]
12. Revelation Depths [Dead-end]
===These two areas are straightforward and you should not get lost, just push forward===
13. Path of Devotion
===This area is past the locked door near Bellroom vestige
14. Manse of Hallowed Brothers
15. Tower of Penance [Dead-end] [Beacon]
===Beacon in tower is on top, you need to take elevator up twice from the boss room===
16. Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters
17. The Empyrean [Beacon]
===These are straightforward areas you need to push through===
18. Bramis Castle
===Entry to area 18 is near vestige you have gotten after clearing Cistern and taking elevator up. Certain steps need to be taken for entrance to be open===
Thank you for the guide. Will try and follow this. Also It is not too late for a map. If they start now then when Christmas comes, Santa will come riding on his Sleigh. (They can have a good proper map by Christmas).
I would much prefer if Hexworks focus their attention and resources, which are limited, on their roadmap.
I also suggest that you check Fextralife wiki for LotF, which while not being the best wiki, has lots of information and even guides for the game.
