wanting there to be no such thing as invasions, i guess so theres no danger and the power fantasy is never interrupted?
i dont recall that being a request or expectation, at all, on any fromsoft IP / soulsborne.
its like fortnight, or my hero ultra rumble, with no one hitting each other.
sort of core design decision - and manifestation of risk, if you choose to go online.
you gain a helper via coop, you gain little tokens for things, by playing online...
but... someone can invade, so theres a risk.
however, you tend to outnumber them if coop, and its hardly 'massive setback' if your forced to face an invader and fail.
seems a lot of complainers hust pull the plug or alt+F4 if theyre invaded anyway.
why complain about LOTF, but not a fromsoft property?
They are not bugged boss, I play offline and I find them a lot. Just move around and you will find some
''But they did it too!''
That's hardly constructive.
The best solution is to implement a opt-in for invasions. That way people who enjoy coop can enjoy coop in peace and people who enjoy invading can enjoy invading other players who are prepared and specced.
Some other guy said if this was implemented, they wouldn't get any matches, basically admitting that invasions are not popular.
I'm not whining, I'm advocating for a player-friendly solution to this situation. You, on the other hand, are upset that people do not accept your griefing behaviour.
What's wrong with alt+f4? It works wonders to remove griefers.
They don't want honourable duels/pvp, they want to ambush unprepared players. They don't enjoy pvp, they enjoy ruining other player's fun.
Can confirm that they have complained since DS1:PtDE, yes. And the answer has always been "Git Gud" "Turn off the Internet". They've complained more in DS2 because unlike DS1, you can still get invaded while hollow.
