What are you talking about?
he wants to say that we as the player seem to be part of the dev team because we are finding all the bugs and crashes they are suppose to find before relase. Though this is a brainless comment actually. No dev team ever especialy not with UE5 as a new engine will be able to figure this stuff out. They even said themselves there are more crashes due to UE5 having problems with AMD and NVIDIA than it is game code. So people like this person are just mindlessly flailing around with critique they have no idea of.
I play this game since release, i had 3 crashes. Yes there are user with 3 crashes per hour but the reason for that cant be this game alone...
I agree with "people don't care to change their bad review even though the problem they had has already been fixed"
Additional: more then 500.000 units sold on steam, 8.000 negative. The thing is that user without problems vote significantly less often.
The singleplayer is a solid 85/100
The multiplayer part has problems at time
Most of them were crying because they didn't have specs to run the game. Its an Unreal 5 Engine game which is spotty, and yes the game did have some graphical hiccups and crashes on launch. That being said, most of them are fixed now. During that time of bad reviews, a ton of people were posting PC-rig specs completely garbage that could not run the game. That is their fault.
The game is much more accessible than Lies of P. Lies of P really only caters to the worst kind of Souls-like fans in my opinion. The ones who think that perfect no hit runs are fun and want to sit there fighting a boss for 15+ minutes just memorizing attack patterns so they can brag about it later. That game is hard and tedious for the sake of it.
Lords of the Fallen is much more like Dark Souls, and though it does have some strange enemy placements that are more annoying than they are fun, the game is fun and is comparable to a souls-like experience. Best one I have played in a long time. I think it's worth your time, especially if you like Fashion souls stuff or fighting cool unique boss designs.
I would give it a 4 / 10.
Its a great game, for single only in my opinion.
There are other critical issues that still haven't been fixed, and i agree with some previous comments that,
I paid money for a complete product, not to be "a tester".
They advertised crossplay co-op from day 1, didn't happen until much later, so thats a lie.
They fix up and mop up the game, depending on "paying customers feedback" which is,
to me, bull.
You can't sell a product, and expect user feedback as your main source of "completing an incomplete product"
I will say though, single play experience was not bad at all. Had a lot of fun. Could've been more fun if I could play with my bro.
After 5+ runs of NG+ we have both lost interest.
Most for technical issues, probably. I never got any.
Most for people that aren't good enough. game is good, they're bad but will never admint that, they keep crying over everything.
There are legitimate things that should be fixed and rebalanced, as with any game ever, but overall it's a solid 9/10 soulslike, together with being one of the most drop dead gorgeous games ever made.
Technical issues, even if I did not have any, were quite prevalent at start. There was also controversy about NG+ where all vestiges were removed but that was adjusted in later patches.
Lords of the Fallen is gorgeous looking game that feels and plays as old Dark Souls 1. That is with all of its good and bad things. One of the more egregious things in my opinion is that the game is not really difficult but it rather is hell-bent to annoy and inconvenience the player. This feeling was very common for me early in the game but it was slowly dissipating as I progressed through the game, learn how to play and build better character. I still think it is cardinal sin to create good game that generates more frustration and anger than joy and fun.
I absolutely think Lords of the Fallen is better game now than it was at launch, even with its latest controversial patch that the developer was forced to backtrack and issue compensation to players because it was poorly though out. Most of the patch improved the game from technical or gameplay perspective.
I rate Lords of the Fallen as 7 out of 10 game. It is a game where despite its shortcomings and unrealized potential you can still have lots of fun and spend 100+ hours in it easily.
being racist all of the sudden? Btw if you are saying "the car is not functioning in a very specific very individual situation that no one in the car industry could've reproduced" and complain about it acting like the car manufacturers didn't do their jobs yes that is super silly. And maybe you should learn how the process of testing a product actually works and how crazy complicated it is in big complex games compared to a coffee machine.
And looking at a profile of someone to "diminish" their point without actually addressing them and attack them personally is the pettiest and most pathetic way to go into a discussion.
