Soulslike game you want to try next?
I'm having a blast with LOTF. We've had a banger of a year of games, what's your favorite Soulslike on deck to play next?

Nioh 2 is a fantastic game, definitely get them into that

Great game, its a fusion between a soulslike, ninja gaiden and diablo.

Wo Long, it will receive PC optimizations this month (though is not bad at the moment) and its last and 3rd DLC will be released on December, it is free on GamePass if you wanna try it, the bosses there are by far better designed than most games (including LoTF)
Do not bother with Wo Long. It is worst Souls-like created by Team Ninja. If you have not played Nioh 1 and/or 2, play that rather than Wo Long.
I would like to take a break from souls like, I did elden Ring, Nioh 1 and 2, Wo Long, Lord of the fallen and finally Lies of P, which I can't continue because I am having a burnt out with souls like. Going to try some strategy games or rpgs.

"Hellpoint" is actually a good Souls-like, if you are able to look past some jank. It has some unique mechanics and you can make some really broken builds.
But if you like some flashy Souls-like, i would recommend something like "Code Vein" or "Asterigos: Curse of the Stars".
But better look up some Videos, because not everybody like those kind of flashy Souls-like.

I was at BestBuy yesterday and they had a stack of PS5's in stock.

I never played the original Demon's Souls, however the Bluepoint Games remake made my Christmas during the pandemic. Pound for pound I would still say that's the best looking souls game to-date and LOTF comes close.

If you're looking for the ultimate Souls Christmas present for someone, that would be it.

I don't agree. They're all good. Wo Long is fantastic.

I've been telling people that the Demon's Souls remake is the best looking game on the PS5. I still believe it is and it was like the 1st or 2nd game released on the system.

Bloodborne would be nice. If Sony gets a move on.

idk about the deck but that list you posted OP has Blasphemous on it so I guess the next thing that is worth a look would be The Last Faith. Looks great, hopefully will be good. I have a hidden gem for you that is similar, There is no Light.

PS: I agree with people who say Wo Long is trash. It's basically a lot worse Nioh with horrid level design but a normal price tag. The DLCs that were supposed to "make the game great" are tiny and overpriced. Only get it if you find it in a bundle somewhere (which is highly unlikely because KT keeps their games close).

I consider Lies of P to be one of the greatest non-fromsoft souls like games made...
It has a different feel from DS2//LotF but is easily one of my favorite souls like games ever.

The Surge 1 and 2 are also EXCELLENT games...

Remnant 1+2 are great games if you want a souls like that focuses on gunplay

I HATED mortal shell, that was awfully boring and had so very little customization.

Code Vein is great (despite it's anime style)

Blasphemous 1+2 are great soulslike metroidvanias.

Death's Gambit is a good soulslike metroidvania

Salt And Sanctuary 1 is a GREAT soulslike metroidvania, I heard the second one sucked and haven't gotten around to playing it.

Fyi, you're in good company. Fighting Cowboy just wrapped up his LOTF coverage and is moving to Blasphemous II.

I think I'm asking for that and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for Christmas. I've been waiting for them to fix the PC optimizations and sounds like it might have improved.

Grime is also an excellent soulsvania, like Blasphemous. But you have accesso to armor and weapons.

I disagree. They are all great. They've tried something new in Wo Long by separating blocking and parrying, instead dodging and parrying are on the same button. This makes for very fast dynamic fights. Team Ninja makes the games with the best fighting mechanics. Super responsive, quicker and more complex than all other Soulslikes. The Nioh games have deeper mechanics with 3 different stances that actually matter. Wo Long is easier to pick up but the boss fights are demanding, plus the magic/elemental system is innovative, too. Sadly the stories of all are borderline incomprehensible for Western audiences and they suffer from loot overkill. Nontheless fantastic games!
