Haven't run the numbers for a minute, but the hardcap is just referring to the point at which a stat stops boosting the stats related to the specific stat. They must have changed a lot if the hardcaps when up like that.
Now it just stopped at 97 for dmg. No idea if you could before get more health and stamina beyond 99.
Stamina is 1000 with 99 end.
Health is 1200 with 99 vit.
Weight max unknown, at least 195 with both rad and agi at 123.
Mana max unknown, at least 1181 with both rad and inf at 123.
Defensive Stats max unknown, at least 984 with all stats at 123.
(for defensive stats, reminder str, rad, inf give their respective def values 3x more than the rest)
Resistances max unknown, at least 469 with all stats at 123.
Might come back to this later. Probably not running the numbers again until after they stop re-balancing the game as much. There's bugs that're causing the UI for me to be ignored as well. Best example I can probably give as it's always on screen is the vitality drop multiplier in the UI will change in each session of the game. There's also something causing damage to enemies in the game with no actions taken on the player's end. If you're not seeing the vitality drops when you warp into an area, you can know they're there as one enemies aren't where they normally are and two if you use your lamp to collect vitality you're receiving it in spite of never even attacking anything.
Also getting weird things like status effects being placed on me just walking around in areas where that's not supposed to be possible in this current patch. Just woke up, so probably not the best time for me to be commenting on this anyway. If what i'm saying is too much of a tangent, that's probably why.
Also possible some enemies clipping through the world, I've seen the fire knight before Pieta getting stuck underground multiple times, never seen the process of clipping through, but finding him below the terrain or sometimes seeing the sword sticking through.
Nostalgaia had a similar bug, you could just rest and each time few enemies died instantly, when it was fixed was surprised with enemies in some areas that I'd never seen before in that place.
Aware of that, and not talking about those areas. This playthrough it's been happening everywhere, and is still ongoing in the current patch. The other end is likely the cause, but I can't actually see what's on screen when this is happening. It's happening to enemies in areas where there's only 1 enemy as well. Sometimes when it happens on screen, it's when the enemy pops in. As in, there's nothing on screen, and the enemies just show up. There's also issues with objects being in the game in spite of not actually being displayed on the screen. You'll know some of these because they'll prevent traversal, but if you attack something breaks and you can then traverse. Probably needs a video, because saying something you can't see there, even if you give a good explanation of where to go, doesn't mean you'll actually find what I'm on about.
Edit: Not to make excuses, but I really need to wake up before I comment more. The logics I just used are very invalid.
Hope that isn't the case for dmg.
Maybe they get dmg by something in the umbral, I've seen Umbral enemies getting damaged for some reason, while I'm not in Umbral.
What we have now is more lore friendly and logical balancing, so take it or leave it.
They could split wither def between rad and inf, and physical between str and agi, but holy doesn't with with anything else than radiance.
Also if you want a change you nerf just other builds.
Another option is that agi gives the same amount of physical def, and inferno gives the same amount of wither, but you'll end up doubling 1 stat worth of bonus, if some build went into both stats.
But to counteract that you would then have to set a soft cap on the stat itself, so doesn't matter which stat you go, you still end up with same end result.
So yeah if would give the same amount physical def for agi, you could set a soft cap, aka doesn't matter if you go str or agi, till 106 points between agi and str together has been acquired, and then you gain half from both stats compared to before. That way you get the 3x physical regardless which stat you go, considering melee caps at 97 points, you won't be putting more points for the sake of dmg, then after that regardless if you go str or agi you gain 1.5x physical, it will be a nerf for str and no agi builds, but only after 106 points between str and agi.
An example you go for 97 strength or 97 agility with the other one being at 9, you end up with the same physical defense.
If you go for both at half stat value, you get the same physical defense as one being at 97.
if you go for both for 97, then you gained 1.5x beyond the first 106 points.
Same thing for wither defense.
No idea what you could do with Radiance defense, an option would be to split it between all 4 damage stats.
My first priority would be to gain enough requirement stats to equip what I like to equip with at max weight split between stamina and health. Then focus on getting max dmg or equip anything else I want, and then focus on maxing out the weight to fill all slots with the heaviest stuff possible. And then max out all dmg and then just go between str/rad/inf, except agi, end and vit, as that doesn't give more defense.

My computer can probably handle constant recording with the proper capturing software installed, but by the defaults I'm using on my gaming rig it causes too much of a heat problem to be doing that. So didn't actually capture the status effect build up. Did also check one of the invisible object issues and they appeared to have either corrected the coding issue, or removed the objects in that location. Have a thread where I'm posting these when I feel like it.
There's a major bug that causes God Mode in effect and an issue with one of the items that causes the player's model to go invisible. Those are probably going to be my priority to report if I report anything more today. Also wanna report a few collision issues that allow players to get behind or under the terrain in the map.
Edit: I wont be posting about the God Mode thing here, as that needs to go directly to them. Qualifies as an exploit to me.
