Buff inferno spells

I did a full play through with rad and decided to try out inferno. Every spell feels underwhelming compared to the power house spells rad brought to the table. In fact alot of the inferno spells dont seem to be working as intended for example the Infernal erruption spell doesnt leave pools of magma like it claims to nor does infernal slash give an "Explosive" blow. Just feels like theres no love compared to rad.

It's interesting and I doubt I can change your mind, but I made a full Inferno playthrough and I actually got a lot of good use out of Infernal Eruption in particular. It absolutely melted some bosses, and the little pool of magma (though it just looks like a red burning hole VFX) did seem to stack on top of itself if you kept casting would just tear through lesser enemies in seconds.

Overall I really had a good time with Inferno, but I guess your mileage may vary.

From what ive been reading some inferno spells have been not working correctly since some of the recent fixes. Maybe i was just spoiled from how busted rad is. Maybe they should just nerf radiance and fix the inferno spells a little.

I'd be up for that, though I think the root of the problem isn't so much the strength of the spells but rather the resistances of the enemies. Inferno just tends to be resisted more than Radiance. Once you do fight enemies that aren't though... Hooah, do they melt!

I'm playing a INF build right now and is so much fun. Seismic Slam against the hordes of Umbral is just too good and satisfying, has some insane AoE and knockdown some mobs. Magma Surge does huge damage and leave a pool that does damage that seems to ignore resistance.

But yeah, early on suck balls.
