We're building a patch that introduces a new pickup with specific conditions for spawning:
(1) If you possess any of the boss weapons.
(2) If you have upgraded any weapon to its maximum level (+5 for boss weapons pre-patch or +10 for any other weapon) using the same character.
This pickup provides all the materials and vigor needed to upgrade your boss weapon from +5 to +10, and it's multiplied by two. So, if you're dual-wielding, you can upgrade both weapons.

So what if we already spent the vigor and materials to upgrade them from +5 to +10? I had 6 weapons downgraded, I was able to bring 3 or 4 of them back to max with the materials I had saved. It kind of sounds like it's only checking for +5 boss weapons. Also wondering if I will get chunks for anything I upgrade to +5 between now and that patch.

Yeah given there are only 3-4 in a play through, you must have played through the game a few times. Some of us actually have jobs, significant others, and kids. You know... Lives. Someone that has more chunks than they know what to do with probably can't identify with that.

I will believe it when I see it. There are people on this forum who are still waiting for them to live up to their promise to give back missing levels.

They are also only claiming to give back a max of two, regardless of how many you lost.

Plus, the people who are already missing their blacksmith are still screwed.

The description says that they check for any boss weapon (no matter if upgraded or not) and that they check if any weapon was fully upgraded before the patch (even normal weapons). So If they do it exactly as they describe it here, you will get the pickup, meaning exactly two chunks and the other materials and the vigor necessary to upgrade two boss weapons from +5 to +10.

Check what they wrote in the notes, they are giving materials for "a boss weapon and doubles", so you only got 2 chunks, no matter how many you lost.

hes big mouth not more didnt even 100% game i guess he would talk otherwise if he had upgraded like 8 boss weapons to max 5 back then and the next patch he realize that he has to upgrade them once more with a big chunk to 10

There are far, far more casuals here than elitists. As such, they don't need to assert an elitist attitude with name calling or belittling others opinions because they don't have excessive free time to play a game all day.
