Boss weapons now going up to +10

So, as the title says and I'm sure all of you know, boss weapons are now going up to +10. Except there's an issue. I pay co-op with a friend when we're both on, he had 2 maxed out boss weapons. He logs in just now to find them both still being level 5, he had enough materials to bring them to +7.

But was this intended? If they changed the upgrade curve, shouldn't they have made the weapon levels upgrade accordingly after the patch? Now people with boss weapons that are maxed will have to use twice as many materials to max them out AGAIN.

That was a HUGE oversight from them and I hope they do something about it.

They came out with a BS announcement that said you should farm them via PVP.

No, its not oversight, they have already replied to this in the newest patch note,

They know this, and they have already made the chunk cheaper now, just go farm in multi play, why you complain here?

How am I complaining? I simply made an observation about weapons that affected someone I play with. Good to know chunks are cheaper, still think they should have just did the level adjustment themselves as it would have made tons more sense.

Welcome to the party, we've had a big whinge about this stupid change. And no they wont fix it. Half way thru NG+ and there are no chunks available at the Shrine for me, not that I have any coins to buy any if they thy were there.

Because many of us don't use multiplayer, and if we did, it's currently broken. How's your reading comprehension?
