I am certainly not arguing that some of the choices they made aren't very questionable. I am not interested in 'defending blindly' any devs. I am still extremely annoyed by no item box for example.
And yeah. For all its faults, ds2's powerstancing was super fun!
It's like saying, "Hey, we stole your car and understand how this may have frustrated you, so we are offering to sell it back to you at 50% off what you paid for it originally."
I shouldn't have to explain why that is problematic.
It would be a different story if they said, "Hey, we screwed up, we're rolling things back, and we will take a second look at this changes while separating PvP from PvE." That would have showed at least some awareness and restored a little faith (not fully, but a little). However, that's not what happened.
This has nothing to do with getting good. Maybe if you weren't illiterate, you'd "git" what this discussion is actually about.
Well screw 'em. I won't be dishing out any more money to them. My time is valuable. I make good money while I'm working and got little free time. I value it, so when they pull stuff like they did in their last update and say go play PVP to buy chunks, go F yourself.
There were alot of us that stuck behind them when all the bugs and performance issues were happening in the beginning. The amount of daily fixes helped improve these issues so I was patiently waiting to give a review and when I did it was very positive.
This patch though put a serious bad taste in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, I think the change in itself with the boss weapons was merited especially when it came to Pietas but the approach... yeah not good.
As I said and other pointed out, your supporting proof for "they are listing, faith restored." does not stand, this is fairly simply.
They are not smart enough to make right patch, yet they are not lazy enough to not to make any patch, so they kept on making stupid patches. Ppl has to know their qualification of doing things, see how the neg review overwhelmed for these two days? Now the game is totally ruined to a point.
It's in the latest news update.
