Or could just be connection issues.
People are reporting the same issues when trying to connect with hosts for co-op. Unlikely hosts receiving aid are deliberately disconnecting.
You'd be rolling in resources if the game awarded you a win for all the failed connections.
Reward? You don't put anything on the line when invading someone. Maybe if something was on the plate when you invaded it'd be worth giving a small reward for when someone quits.
We are putting our time on the line, 33 disconnects and 40 minutes I could be farming in game or something else instead I get disconnected 30+ times in a row. We should get at least 1 hand per fail or a finger that can be combined into a hand after you get 5....I co-op just fine the real reason for the disconnects I can seem to find is actually their janky way of the blue type system, all the disconnects could be explained by us being summoned for backup against another red just for the host or red to die kicking us.
I doubt it's people Alt+F4ing. Even in co-op, 9 out of 10 times the connection fails. Once MP actually works, this should be a fun time but right now it's just a huge headache. I'd avoid MP for now.
Even when I manage to connect to the host, the game usually bugs and I can't control or even see my character. If by some miracle I can control my character, the lag makes it unplayable. I would say I get one playable co-op/invasion every 20 or so attempts.
I can play other co-op/pvp games just fine, but LotF is basically impossible.
Time is that important to you? Then why do you invade when winning wastes the host's time? Then again you just being there wastes the host's time... Time is either important for everyone or no-one. Keep in mind, Host literally cannot progress the game as they can't pass through any of the mothwall boundaries and thus have to fight. And of course, if host is in umbral, invaders seem to like sitting on their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thumb until the red reaper comes along.
