post v.1.1.282 patch opinion

so let's clear things up, while fundamental things don't work in the game, this is about:

- unreasonable inventory limit of 1337 items, which fills up quickly due to the achievement of collecting all the weapon/armor/accessories/ammo/spells/every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stone in the world

- no inventory sorting in game with 327 armor pieces and 211 weapons

- there is also NO SIMPLE STORAGE, just think about it

- duplicates of key items/spells/ammo also fill out the inventory without the possibility of destroy them and picking up new items when filling your inventory, cause of which someone can simply get softlocked

- the numerical effect of equipped runes is not displayed on weapons and some runes simply do not work (e.g. mhakev)

what do devs do in a situation like this?

fixing pvp! PVP! P V P !

which almost no one plays and you know why?

cause there are cheats for dupe stats, anyone can simply download mod with 999 lvl from nexus

how is this problem solved?

- by prohibition on exiting to the main menu during an invasion, this is insane, what an epic battle with windmills!

i suspect that devs would tear the alt+f4 buttons out of keyboards if they could and what for? what principled position do they defend? pvp is broken, since anybody can draw their own stats

but w8, what ace did the devs have up their sleeve?

- roll back weapon upgrades from bosses, now any +5 boss weapon need to be upgraded up to +10

is everyone happy now?

it doesn’t matter that the rollback ate rune from the third slot, large deralium shards, vigor and rare deralium chunk, this is fine, cause now players will definitely play pvp, right?

keep temporary discount on a deralium chunks in the shrine and smile

p.s. we continue to make sure that, umbra forbid, someone cheese the red reapor

devs, wake up, nobody cares about reaper, since anybody, literally, can cheat lvl/stats

The worst thing over all the things you expose is at least for me i was forced to get down HARD my graph config to mid/high and mid DLSS quality to put ALL LOW and best performance at DLSS because from the patch to now i get 84-85º on my graph card (RTX2070 Super Aourus Rev2) all time when prev i was playing at around 74-77 in better quality....

I have my drivers updated and just happen to me in this game, no other one give me this heat issue... so for me... i just need online armours and the inventory fix, im done with the game until go to the right spot graph card health is so far over play the game

Disregarding the second part of your rant, I feel like the whole outrage about the blancing changes and "muh chunks" is overshadowing that there are still many bugs in the game, and I am not talking about performance related ones, yet all the devs "fix" are performance problems and balancing.

Inventory full can lock you out of progressing,
umbral ending bug can lock you out of progressing,
bramis castle door bug can lock you out of progressing.

Why not make sure your game can be finished without gamebreaking bugs BEFORE you start with balancing?

So, they coded in unique item tags on some things it seems. I got Damarose Cleaver from failing her quest and then when I did her quest the next playthrough she is supposed to reward you with it but nothing. It's also one of the few items that can't be dropped to people. So how come these few items exist while certain emotes, all spells, necklaces and such are able to duplicate. Makes no damn sense.

Im baffled by balance deicisions on weapons alone.

You have plenty of weapons which are outright useless, they simply dont pack enough attack power and they dont get buffs.
i mean sure bell staff is a joke but at least its early game joke which youre free to ignore, but radiant purifier polearm? or abbess staff? 2 weapons you acquire near end of the game which will absolutely disappoint you and neither is better than mancatcher.
Luminous abiding defender sword? worse version of bloody glory but acquired later.
Devotion might and righteous pulveriser, one is straight better than other.
Daggers as category? jeffrey daggeer is the best because its a light statstick you can slap on 2 handed physical build rest arent even worth bothering with.
Raw mangler axe, axe of the flayed and grinning axe, 3 weapons for same build increasingly more powerful. Same thing with orian preacher holy agony and bartholomev, at least holy agony got status which others dont. Theres exacted dunmire cane in same category which is absolutely horrid.

I am currently trying to refund the game and I have contacted the developers on their website via support. If their plan going forward with this game is alienating large parts of the playerbase by focusing all on PVP-balancing - in a SINGLE PLAYER GAME with co-op/multiplayer/pvp OPTIONS - then I don't want any part in that.
Decide if you are making an MMO or a SIngleplayer Soulslike. I am not interested in wasting my time with MMO crap.
And what is this change: I need several playthroughs to upgrade ONE weapon? Do they think only students and jobless people play their game?

Worst patch, you did a great job but for this one its just a big che...t mana management is not rly good now its even worse, nerfed spell I F*C*I*N*G don t care about PVP !!!! do these stupid rules for pvp if you want but let us having fun with the game. and thx for the limited deralium chunk lost .... stupidest patch ever
Have I to say thx for ruining my game experience on my PVE radiant run. you did a great job so far and destroyed everything with this patch
II rly like to be able to rollback and never get a new patch !! There's so much other things to fix. and yes i play offline cause of ppl cheating and what you did never gona fix this.

Ill play the game again when we get a inventory system like Darksouls, its BS there a limit and zero sorting options, and you have to carry EVERYTHING with you, no storage. Fail.
