Any weapon with just single stat scaling will be weaker than its 2 stat scaling counter-parts. Bloody Glory is decent STR & RAD weapon with focus on RAD. I'm quality STR & RAD build so I use Devotion's Might. It packs a punch, it is relatively fast for grand weapon and has solid 1-handed move set as opposed to grand swords.
Late game, the spells still do far more damage on average than any weapon I've tested. Stat stacking the weapons do far more, but yeah. If you're lazy like me, you're probably going for something that scales off of something other than strength. The weapon I'm on about scales with strength and radience BTW.
If you're farming The Scarlet Shadow, you're probably going to want to learn to stat stack. Unless you're cheesing it, which in spite of what they said in the patch notes is still possible.
Edit: I'm using Bloody Glory, and ignored the strength stat, because my runes nurffed that stat. Late game, there's far better runes for this weapon that don't impact the strength scaling.
Edit: Would suggest running more than 1 weapon, personally. Inferno is good for some things, but if you're looking for the maximum damage in an area, it's better to use something the enemies in that area are weak to. Again, I'm being getting more and more lazy as I play the game.
Exacter dunmires cane got a rune slot change so maybe thats good now, thats a pure rad weapon.
Gd. i havnt gotten a stat over 50 and ive beaten the game 5 times. 75/75 damage stat and i would murder NG+ endgame bosses. ohhh youre talking about NG+ becuz i was so confused like why do you need 50 egregiously copious levels of extra damage but ng+ would make sense
