they should add a timer to the mirrors and make you purchase unlimited of them

They serve their intended purpose as it stands. To give a temporary reprieve as there is no true escape from an intended game mechanic. And as there are only a few invasion areas anyways, so you are meant to use them there, not everywhere.

And again an advertised and intended game mechanic cannot be griefing.

Where did it have this advertised on the Steam Store page. Here is what is on there

Most Souls likes don't have forced invasions if you play co-op. It's not a given that everyone should know.

No one is calling the police for a game . Your acting like people should take that it is a given that these games have forced invasions if you play the advertised Co-op because it's Souls-Like.

It's outdated and LOTF is trying to relive the glory days.

Since March 2020 for me I just don't like or trust most people anymore and would like to exclusively play with friends. I live in Lunatic run NYC and I'm tired of dealing with people when I come home. Very few people I want to spend my free time with.

Expand the list if you know more SOULS lIKES that have forced Co-op PVP.

DONT include Online Co-op in the Games features since Co-op can and will be PVP for everyone at some point in a full play through with a friend.

Right now it looks like a really cool Action RPG that advertises both PVP and Co-op options. Most Souls Likes do not have Forced Co-op invasions so the assumption that this is something that is a given is not true.

Look Michelin man. Dark Souls and Elden Ring are not "souls like" as they are the progenitors of the "genre."
And every other game isn't like Dark Souls if it doesn't have the sweet gate keeping of fragile little multi player choosing beggars. So if this game has invasions, it's a souls like. And if there's forced entry, call the police.

Thanks for clarifying why it's not a given than.

I don't touch online in Souls likes until I do my first playthrough solo so when I finaly find out about the invasion when I do another playthrough with a friend it's too late to refund.

I can guarantee you that they will have it from now on. At least coming from me. Too many years tolerating mechanics that disgust me in single player games with a main campaign where the red man is not needed for absolutely anything.

That Elden Ring mod for seamless coop and no invasions will change things. Everyday more players are requesting the same. That change it have been needed for a long time now.

I'm trying to make a mod for this but after finishing my automatic downpatcher for Single player games on Steam I haven't had the time to finish my attempt at a No invasions Co-op Mod because I went in a little over my head. When I get more time I will try to find out how to make this work consistently.

Maybe someone will make it by than. My Mod attempt is very basic atm . Trying to consistently find the flag for Crimson Ritual and kill it without bugging the game out.

If you are still using their online. Using mods is still forbidden and get you a ban. As stated in the user agreement.
