Stuck on the Hushed Saint

Does this walmart brand Tree Sentinel ever get off his friggin horse? I have been blowing up those umbral gonads DIRECTLY beneath him and he brushes it off like a poorly worded insult... Lock on is glitched out, he can reach you from about 9 zip codes away and he's a freaking damage sponge. What am I missing?

You can also parry his halberd to get him off the horse. I think fire damage hurts him good also.

Nah, he's just an objectively poorly designed boss meant only to infuriate new players. It's a typical souls like trope...

I didn't think you could parry him off the horse. Only way to finally get him off the damn thing.. Thanks!

I never used the lamp really in this fight. He gets of the horse after two runs. Use fire salt to deal much damage. After a while he stays of the horse.

Just dodge. Yes. He is quite easy.

The boss is fine. You need to find the right strategy for him, there is always a way. Let me know if you need further tips.

Hushed Saint is extremely easy. I am sure if you look for a coop partner, the first person to join your game will carry you. This boss is most likely a first try for many people. Atleast for people who played previous soulslikes and are familiar with the genre.

Oh and if you are in umbral, you can make this fight even easier by destroying the parasites dealing a ton of stagger damage to him and gets him off the horse. Not needed usually, but it would help you I guess.

He is fairly easy to knock down. Parry him and he falls, or stand next to an umbral plant while in the umbral.

When he is riding at you, attack the plant that is in front of him. It will explode into like a bush, causing the horse to halt and buck off the rider. The timing on this is way easier than parrying.

Since he charges at you, just use the lamp to find a parasite and stand on it, once he charges you, blow it up. that usually works and then you can just wail on him until he hops on his pony again and repeat. you dont even have to dodge or parry, makes the fight super easy once you figure out how to do it.

I threw fire bombs at him when he rode at me and in 4 out of 5 cases he fell off the horse. 5th case I had to quickly dodge, which also damaged him because of eye. It's actually better not to dismount him because then you start close to him while he pulls out his halberd and can get some juicy damage in.
