You are going to clarify why you perceive that socketing weapons doesn't work, because they absolutely do.
Stats dont change at all socketing pieta or others I tried but any shield effects are reflecting in stats.
Why would it show for shields and not weapons? ok so this is visual bug
I use the belltower guy as my test dummy personally...
Unless the damage colors don't actually mean what the current consensus is on their meaning, one of the Inferno scaling runes, increase the damage but turns the damage color from red to white on the same enemy that should be susceptible to fire damage and without runes, it's reflected as such.
And that's just one example from manual testing. Runes are all kinds of broken.
I repeat, I'm not talking about them being visually reflected in the UI / Stat sheets.
An example of a rune not working is the Gravix rune. When socketed into a shield it's supposed to increase maximum equip load. I tested it by setting my equip load to 1 point over the heavy limit (shield included). Then I equipped the rune on my shield and rolled. Still fat rolling, hence the rune does nothing.
I feel like the devs haven't fixed the UI bug yet, because they know there are ton of runes that they need to fix first.
Yea I remember that one not doing ♥♥♥♥
