At least thats how i see it. They also all seem poopy.
Some of them, the ones from beating the game with certain endings, are actually quite good. Lord and Radiant Purifier especially. Great starting stats, and the Radiant Purifier got some sexy swagger
yeah I was hoping to do an Inferno build with the new class that I unlocked just now.... not sure If I have the mental to do it all over with a complete new game :/
Starting new class is exactly the same as starting complete new game.
I just started the Radiant Purifier class because I wanted to do a Strength and Radiance build. I still almost went with the Preacher because it has less points in Agi, which I'm not going to use at all. So the less starting points in that stat, the better. I could probably start with the Str class, but I want to do magic asap.
Orian Preacher
Str 10
Agi 8
End 9
Vit 11
Rad 18
Inf 8
Radiant Purifier
Str 12
Agi 10
End 13
Vit 14
Rad 18
Inf 8
I don't know how long it takes, but. You can just respec your character if you want to go with something different. But your starting class can really effect your new build because you may have a lot of points in a useless stat for your new build. Starting as condemned is the best for doing a respec.
it's just weird to me that we can unlock new starting classes but not choose a different class for new game plus. Kinda defeats the point imo. yeah I can just respec and I can find all the gear of the inferno starting class later but that will take so much time again... just wasn't expecting for the system to work that way.
Starting classes get access to certain equipment and spells that might not be accessible in the early parts of game. This is more important in a fresh game than NG+. As long as you're thorough in your first playthrough, you can just have every spell and equipment needed to closely mirror or surpass any starting class.
welp like I mentioned I already started ng+. And sadly the game didn't ask me to do NG+ 1 or NG+ 0
so now Iam double ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with being stuck in ng+1 -.- really annoying
but there isn't a choice to be made ?
if you want, drop all the items you picked up through the whole first play through except the starter gear... or just start a new game with that starting class like it was intended
1: It gives you a boost towards your preffered style.
2: It locks out starting Loadouts to other classes via stat allocation.
In most games, choose a magic user and you have stats that can use low spells but not swords etc, same for a warrior class not rnough starting int to use to use even thr simplest spell but can carry large weapons and armor.
