Yes, we get it, you're a pro souls player. You completed the soulsborne games no damage ng+8 on a dancemat. Here's your trophy, sir.
You start off weak as can be (which is what makes pieta feel so hard)
But towards the end game when you have +10 weapons and 8+ flasks you do MASSIVE damage per swing. So bosses are easy to beat down extremely quickly before you even have to deal with most of their mechanics.
It should also be mentioned that ranged attacks are REALLY strong in this game...
On top of that you can heal tank your way through most of them because of how much damage you do.
I love the game, but I feel the bosses only feel easy, because how of powerful you are in comparison towards mid-late game.
According to powerpyx they're tanky

If that's the case I'm really looking forward to NG+! A bit sad that the difficulty won't be experienced combined with the novelty of a "new" boss, but it will be fun regardless :)
Highly incorrect, sir. The only Fromsoft game I have played is Elden Ring and it had waay more difficult bosses than lotf. And don't get me wrong, I struggled a ton with many of the earlier bosses in lotf, but I've killed the last 4-5 bosses first try right now, latest one being the Judge Cleric.
You sometimes enter boss arenas without expecting it and still one-shot many of them. So yes they are very easy, especially because their attack moves are long and slow and dodge window is very generous.
However, as I said, the difficulty of the game isn't the bosses, so the game is still not easy by any mean. It's a different take on the Souls genre.
While they did feel easy most of the time, I don't exactly look at it as a fault of the game. Perhaps unlike FromSoft these devs aren't sadists, or they balanced them really well (or maybe too well in favor of the player). Until the last two bosses, Monarch and Adyr, which felt embarrassing to fight against but maybe that's intentional for the storytelling. But also the paths in between each boss were fun and challenging on their own so maybe that was their focus (though it would have been vastly improved if I didn't just see Axe Manglers in 9/10 maps). And I think that's just fine to shift focuses of a genre differently than they have been before.
man you are toxic through out the whole discussion section arent yea
I think a good indicator is when u one hit the thrawls in Umbral then u pretty much have an ez time with any boss. But again every soulslike can be made very easy when u are farming souls or fully exploring. It's a reward for u, when u have explored a lot you have an easier time with bosses.
So u could assume that most players are over-leveled for most of the game. I would argue it's due to being in umbral giving u a lot more souls. Staying in umbral has a couple of benefits that lead to having more souls. I would argue that when u started u didn't feel as comfortable in the umbral as in the normal world, while more to the end, u didn't feel that threatened in the umbral, so u stayed in the umbral longer, leading to more souls than average, leading to easier bosses.
A solution could be to either make being in umbral more punishable or for example make it so that u don't get any souls from umbral enemies.
I dont say boses are for easy. I say use magic are op
