Parochial outlook without any thought.
They made the stagger / posture damage in line with other short swords. It is hardly "nerfed". I honestly don't see why people are losing their ♥♥♥♥ over it. Earliest someone can get it is after swamp and at best you will have it at +2 with 1 low quality rune. Doesn't start to shine till after Calrath
my pure radiance monk runs around with two pietas swords and hits like a truck to the point where a friend (inferno build) feels bad for not doing those amounts of damage.
Pietas Sword is just a logical weapon. It's the first rememberance you can get and there's nothing else like it for radiance builds up until mid or even late mid. Since i have invested a bunch of scourings into getting two of them and upped them to lvl 4, i am not going to change using it until i am through.
stop crying and dont play
hey that's not a bad idea. I didn't know you could dual wield that weapon. Time for me to grind some more grubs so I can buy a second Pieta sword and wipe the floor with every mob in the game.
I understand the concern of players seeing how things seem to be changed because of what the 2% of population (pvprs) that play the game cry about.
It all comes down to skill, there are a lot of better weapons and builds, kids are just mad that they want to look cool using inferno builds and are having a hard time with them when trying to bully a new player with a pieta sword, All without realizing that inferno is the one with the OP builds (when you know how to play, and not just focus on crying).
90% of people that have invaded me use inferno builds, they are just jelly and bitter, if there was an inferno weapon like pietas, they would be quiet and laughing while typing git gud.
GIT GUD guys :)
Your only valid point here is the short sword having a long sword reach.
Tracking laser beam? Do you even know how to dodge? And if you want to get on spells, all the classes have good spells, hell Inferno has one red orb that damages you through walls, someone spammed that on me yesterday and almost took me out through a wall. PVP is skill based but you want to be that guy and blame your lack of skills on an item.
Since it looks like you know nothing about real op items, let me tell you about the only real OP item "Dervla's Crossbow", now go ahead and pair that with your Melted dark crusader swords and go cry again.
Again, for it to be called a multiplayer game, the multiplayer aspect of the game must be essential and 100% needed, like needing a partner to complete a boss, or primary line of the game, or having to pvp someone to get an item to progress in the game, on the contrary you can complete the game without playing with anyone or against anyone, and since co-op and pvp actually need someone to be doing their "single player" stuff in order for it to work, it is indeed a feature of the single player experience, a sometimes annoying one, but yeah it is there, key word here is "optional".
What did I expect? Just look at that profile picture...
Luscent beam can be held, and with the right ring, you can run out of stamina before mana. Meaning you can just hold the spell while the person you're targeting keeps getting clipped between rolling around. Radiance also has that spell from Pieta with the lasers, which ignore walls...
Crossbow has less tracking and a higher downtime than luscent beam. Also, crossbow isn't currently broken so you can block it, if you block the laser, you insta die.
The devs have said that the game has the best co-op of any souls like around, which means they themselves place a very high importance of the multiplayer aspect. Also by your logic, CoD isn't a multiplayer game as you don't need to go into lobbies to advance the story.
What about their profile picture? Sorry you don't like it I guess, but care to explain how that matters?
The best coop to any souls like around goes to Remnant 1 and 2. Actually seamless, both players get the loot , the same xp. It's the way to go.
Oh don't worry, I don't agree with the devs. Lets not forget Nioh 2 and Wo Long, and how they share progression when you co-op. Also, all four of those games can allow you to play with two others.
And this is exactly what I mean, all classes have kind of the same spells, just test them and you will see, it comes down to skills. Now you are saying the whole problem is the radiance builds and that it should be completely nerfed or erased..
I am not talking about just any crossbow, but a specific one, it seems to me that you either don't have it, don't know how to use, or don't know how to fully take advantage of it, it will melt you before you use that luscent beam you are so scared of.
The devs can say that hitler is important for world peace, that does not make it true, and in this case not at all (They would say anything for money and to look good). You do know COD is a completely different genre? But OK, let's use it, in order to level up, to obtain new weapons, to unlock camos, attachments, basically all... You have to play their multiplayer, that game was build around multiplayer and has a side story just to have it, an is super short because that is not what they go for, so their model is a multiplayer game that has single player feature.
Following with your explanation that this game is the same as COD when it comes to multiplayer, let me ask you: do you need pvp to level up? because in COD is a must, do you need pvp to upgrade your character? To beat a boss? to move to a different area? Etc... You get it now? If this game needed pvp or even coop for any of that believe me, they would have sold little to no copies of this game.
It is well known that furries are not the smartest bunch.
