It's not a crutch sword..... Have you even bothered to look at the stats of the weapons in this game? It's actually weaker than a lot of weapons you find in the first half of the game. I hope it's not nerfed because my entire character revolves around this weapon because I only use radiance and I already leveled this sword up. I don't have any points in strength and I don't really want to be forced to make a generic Paladin type character.

I have, and yet somehow its the most prevalent weapon used. Gee I wonder why that is, maybe because it was really strong? A short sword with the speed of a short sword, but the reach of a grand sword? A radiant explosion that hits like a truck? A easily abusable stab heavy that will keep even the tankiest bastards well out of attack range.

I don't do PVP and could care less what problems you guys have in PVP. They shouldn't be nerfing weapons based on PVP when this is a PVE game for 99% of players.

Yet again... PvE its the most prevalent weapon... Gee again... I wonder why that is?

The only nerf they made is that the sword doesn't stagger enemies as easily anymore. You know, the only thing people didn't have issue with. It's still a holy damage weapon with good scaling, reach and speed as well as the best status effect on it.

A nerf is a nerf. If I'm finally able to bonk a bastard through a swing, good. =D Even better if I join co-op, and get to watch a host get wally mopped because the enemy doesn't insta stagger with hammer poise damage,

The problem with this sword is it's reach...It's a one handed sword with the reach of a colossal sword.

The stagger was one of the best parts about it. People are using the weapon because It's the only decent radiance weapon you get for a very long time. They need to stop nerfing stuff when people are still playing through the game. It could break some character builds and we might not want to start a new character so we just stop playing the game.

yeah not like its meta in both but ok go on cry me a river that trash sword is to early in the game to be meta , nerf was deserved

Never had an issue beating them whenever they invaded me or I invaded people who used that sword. A good ol hammer bonk stagger and then beat down always seemed to finish them pretty quickly. Shame for those who liked that sword.

if it's a trash sword why are you wanting it to be nerfed? I also don't care if it's meta or not. Most people don't do PVP and we don't care about it. All I care about is my build being ruined because the devs decided to nerf my weapon when I'm halfway through the game and have my stats geared for radiance only weapons.

It's only acquired early in the game if you grind like crazy to get those grubs so you can buy it.

are you lisening to me? its PvE meta for noobs to rush the game with. Its to early in the game and it can easyly power throug the game. Its the first bosses weapon! nerf was needed for PvE and PvP

if you call helping other players "grind" sure its like 5 times the first boss on low lvl
