Pilgrims perch

A lot of people on here have seemed to beat the game already. I can’t seem to find the exit to the next zone in this section. I’m confused and lost

The bellroom teleport in pilgrim's perch will lead you to three teleports with three different difficulty levels. The elevator down is the right way to go in terms of difficulty, it will lead to calrath. Just explore, a lot of passages in pilgrim's perch lead to a dead end with just one loot item.

If you haven't reached that teleporter yet follow your journal maps.

I got to a point where I found a thing that says o need an umbrel eye but that’s it. The “bonfire” that I’m at has a locked door behind an npc and an elevator that is below and I can’t raise it

You can't raise the elevator yet. So turn around from bonfire and face the elevator. Take the tunnel left. Kill all those dudes and you can continue the path around or go into umbral and go through the water.

I did that and followed path ladders as far down as I can but now stuck

No I haven’t explored the water part yet
