About scaling runes
Is it just me, or are they just broken. They just never do anything.
Doesn't get scalings up, doesn't affect attack power either.

Based on my testing, the Two-Handing Rune (Gravix) is actually increasing less than the Physical Damage Boost Rune (Ixon). Gravix needs a buff lol
Oof, rip. I should switch to Ixon then. I just assumed Ixon wouldn't work because the "increase fire/radiant/wither/etc" damage runes weren't working.

As I stated repeatedly, I have absolutely zero increase in damage on PS5. I tested this with 3 different weapons.
What weapon? Could be a bug considering how messy this game is in so many places.

Yea the mana stone ring is insane. If the shield rune works like the ring, then yea that's op and I need to get that so I can free up a ring slot lol
Ah you know it!
Yeah currently using it with the ring, otherwise without the shield rune mana ticks down 1 per 3s or so, which isn't that bad but it runs out eventually lol.
Ah ok, so it's not as good as the ring. Makes sense. Probably best to pair it like you are doing then.

I tested this earlier today with the bloody Glory. Went in with no Orimon runes and I was doing 749 damage. Installed one Orimon and it increased my damage by roughly 50 points give or take. Yes it is working at least on pc.

The scaling runes do work, but the effect isn't exactly huge.

Tested with two-handed charged R2s against the penitent at the bell vestige, just swapping one rune around on my Devotion's Might +10:
Orimon: 2917 damage
Devoth: 2871
Nothing: 2781

The attack increase isn't displayed in your character sheet at all, so you have to test it. And you probably have to test it again as your stats get higher to see if the scaling or flat damage runes have a greater effect. It is very stupid that you have to do this, but it is what it is.

It wouldn't surprise me if the first tier of runes have such a minor effect on attack at lower stats/weapon levels that they actually have no impact on actual damage dealt after all the calculations.

Really does not, at least on PS5.

Attack power 188 without and with a Radiant scaling rune.
The B- letter becomes green yet no increase in damage.
Tested in actual battle as well.
Depends on the weapon, for example with justice you wouldn't really see a damage increase atleast not with my testing as it has very little damage increase from it's own scaling regardless

Might depend on the build. Been ignoring the UI for the most part as it doesn't really change much with the runs on versus off, but there's a very noticeable difference in damage to enemies. I know the Vitality and Item drop runes work. The radiant ones have been working, though don't change the A+ to something higher in the menu. Some runes will lower your damage whilst raising other parts of your damage. The weapon I'm currently using isn't impacted by the loss in damage as it isn't using that kind of damage in the first place, but I'd assume if it was it would negatively impact the damage gains.

That said, I haven't been playing around with the runes today. Which means since today's patch. I am getting a noticeably larger amount of damage from my weapon compared to yesterday. Not fully upgraded and it went from around 400 to 700 damage on most enemies to 700 to around 1,000.

I think that part of the reason some of you are not seeing results from the scaling runes is maybe your STR/AGL or whatever just isn't high enough to make a difference and the biggest differences come from min 50 STR and or AGL and A to S on the weapon.

Sorry to say but at 65 Radiance, if I put RAD scaling runes, i should be seeing results, which I just don't.

Which ones are you working with? The runes that raise your Radiance stat won't do jack because you are already at 65. At best you will get a single point of damage every 2-3 points. Use Orimon if your weapon allows to get the best bang.
