Is Radiance/Strength build any good?

I have been playing FromSoft games for some time now. My favorite build has always been a dex-oriented, dual-wielding status effect build. But, with Lords of the Fallen, I pre-purchased the game and got this cool-looking Dark Crusader character. Now, this is a character that should be played as a strength-radiance hybrid, which means, slower, heavy-hitting weapons.
Now, I am torn about whether to go for this radiance-strength build or stick to the dex build that I always use. From YouTube videos, I know there are some crazy weapons out there like a greatsword that has 300 bleed build-up. But the thing is, in this game bleed only works if I get to hit him again ... FAST. and I can't really do that with a sword that hits like a truck but takes ages to swing.
From the build guides, I find that Pieta's sword and bloody glory are the way to go for a radiance build. What I would like to know is are there enemies that are resistant to holy and bleed? I mean, of course, there are... but how many? is there a whole zone where, if I go for a radiance build, I'll be tickling the enemies with my massive tickle-sticks? Are there bosses who are resistant? What about mini bosses? what about the whole umbral thingy?

I know that the game is relatively new and, in classic souls-like fashion, the strengths and weaknesses of the enemies have not been made public. I would appreciate any info you can share from your personal experiences.

P.S. : I will play the game again with my dex build. I just wanted to know if playing it with a strength/radiance build for the first playthrough will make me sh*t my pants. Build suggestions are welcome.

str/rad is one of if not the strongest build

ravager grand sword, equal scaling with both radiance and strength, really good weapon imo. add on some runes like the remove weapon weight, increase damage when 2 handing and increase charge attack damage, and use the eye that gives super armor when charging an attack, very powerful combo.

holy is really good throughout the game even if enemies youd think are resistant to it will still take a lot of damage to it. My first playthrough i did a quality build and rocked a grandsword that was B B scaling with innate 200 or 300 frost on it and (b+ b+ scaling with runes) currently doing a radiance build and its stupidly good im trying to get dual peita swords for it because i want a weapon that has fast attacks with smite and no other requirements and a giant plus is that it looks awesome.

There are some really good hammers and grandswords that are radiance and str scaling, with even some that have only str scaling but still have decent holy dmg in it and require no radiance. I think the bell hammer requires no radiance but still hits like a truck with both physical and holy but dosnt get smite build up

I'm going for a radiant polearm build this run, my goal is to get tancreds stuff and use it, started as a radiant purifier, tancreds mancatcher scales mostly with radiance.
