So no real way to do the inferno ending for this playthrough I guess?
That is exactly my point, it wouldn't be even that hard to do!
Of course I will finish it with the radiant ending now, and I'll do the Inferno ending at ng+1.
It's ok since they also put ng+0 now to make things faster, I also come to discover that to get all the inferno sorceries you also need to do the radiant ending, so I guess I'll stick with that
I'd say no, Damarose tells you not to as doing so would go against Adyr. And the game literally asks you if you're sure.
And cleansing even one turns her hostile. There maybe a way to still get the Umbral ending.(which may or not be possible.) But, logically that should permanently remove the Adyr Ending for the playthrough.
