WTF is this unbalanced ....? Crossbow/bow OP !?!?

I met a guy, he was playing with Crossbow which can shot twice, his arrow's did more DAMAGE than my weapons, he could 2 Hit (500+ Dmg per arrow) me with his 2 arrows and I HAD to run to him, some i could dodge but NOT ALL.

PvP is unbalanced as hell.
This can't be it!!

Probably Ravager Gregory's Sword, because I used it for 75% of my playtime and I was hitting for 1.3k with a charged heavy, or running heavy.

This game feels like "maxing out the Black Knight Halberd in Dark souls 1" and run through the game easily.

If you think that is bad, I personally only have 30 radiance and a +9 catalyst for it. I assume the person invaded me must have had something similar, we both used the same spell on each other (Pieta's reflections one) and we both one shot each other. It was actually pretty funny. But there are definitely people running around with insane levels of power in the PVP part of the game, but also it seems like elemental damage of any type does way more than just pure physical. The only exception I have seen to that has been crossbows/bows, and even those can still use elemental type damage as well with the different arrow types

Yep pvp is bad, very very bad. This is an understatement, let me put it this way, a guy, not so bad, quite polite, invaded me with claw weapon. Me in heavy armor and greatsword. Blocked his first attack but got hit by his 2nd normal attack. Instant one shot death.

That said, at least the tier 3 adyr goodies are unlocked and I get to buy stuff thanks for the free kill I got in a coop fight where a guy with twin light saber invaded us, my host is also a twin light saber build. So I tank for him with a big ass shield, while he spam saber and killed him. LOL pvp, what a joke. Note to self, light saber doesn't do ♥♥♥♥ to big ass shield.

Pretty sure if they just had level matching (within ranges of course) in the game, those pvp encounters would start to feel a lot more balanced.

Congrats, you're invading lower levels and getting to grief.

Excuse me ? You can not choose what level to invade. Thank the devs for matching lvl 1 with lvl 10K (yes the game goes even higher I think which is stupid).
It is an absolute travesty that you can increase a single stat beyond 99, it only gives people who dupe vigor a way to basically cheat in PvP with no downside.

500 dmg is not even that high, there are plenty of weapons which with buff and at softcap will hit for 1000-1600, then even ranged will hit for 900-1200 and spells anywhere from 800 for spammy to 3500 for some aoes.
