NG+ massive issue
I personally am nowhere near close to completing the game, but I saw people writing about it and videos. Apparently there's no vestige spots in NG+ and you only have your seeds to rely on, which are useless since you can only have 1 seed planted at a time. This is a MASSIVE issue for NG+ and it doesn't make the game harder. It just makes the game unplayable and so annoying. I don't think this has been changed yet, so I'm writing this in hopes of the devs actually listening to the community and changing it. The optimization patches and all the daily bug fixes are great, but the game will die out if people can't enjoy NG+. I beg of you to please add vestige spots in NG+ and make it like in a normal game.
Additionally, I've noticed that the aiming on a lot of spells is pretty inaccurate, so I hope that gets fixed too. Specifically on the cataclysm move for inferno and infernal decree.

Devs have already stated during their last live stream they are not changing it. Apparently a majority of users like this feature even though 90% of the posts about it are the exact opposite.

Imagine people liking a feature, playing it and not instead of not playing it and therefore having the time to complain.
Also that statement was done by someone who wrote an article about that Q&A, Saul did NOT say that at all

My issue with temporary vestiges is already rearing its ugly face during my first playthrough. I have to three main gripes with the system:
1. Vestiges are temporary - placing new one overwrites last one. This make exploration and farming very annoying or even impossible.
2. You have very low amount of vestige seeds - limiting seeds to just 5 is absolutely crazy. I would not mind if I only can carry 5 on me but I could farm enough seeds to be stored in a storage. Side issue: no storage space at checkpoints, my inventory is full to the brim with weapons, armors and consumables that makes it very hard to find what I'm looking for.
3. Farming for vestige seeds is very inconsistent - there are enemies in certain areas that drop seeds very often but other areas have almost no enemies to farm. Bramis castle is one of the later areas where it is very hard to replenish your seeds.

Bramis castle is late game area that exposed flaws in the vestige system implemented in LotF. It is fine to go for extended period of time in earlier places in the game, skip some flower beds and only place vestige before a boss or after 15 or 20 minutes of game time. This is absolutely not viable in Bramis castle, which is packed with elite enemies. The idea I would have to clear 2 Ruiners, 2 Proselytes, bunch of Reapers and those Snake enemies with crossbows every time I try to progress further is insane. I have to use seeds often, effectively after each cleared section of Bramis castle. Opening shortcuts also means use of seed because now earlier flowerbed is close to my progression area than the last vestige I placed. So far so good, until I realized I have last vestige seed left--how to get more seeds in place where there are no spots and enemies to farm them easily. I could go to Calrath and get 5 seeds easily but that means A) I lose progress in Bramis castle because I have to place temporary vestige seed in order to reset area to farm the seeds dropping from elite enemy nearby and B) I would only be able to get 5 seeds, of which I will have only 4 left when clearing back to my last progress point and placing vestige there.

Current system is just way too punishing in difficult areas without player's ability to get more seeds readily available. I can only imagine this issue with get exponentially worse on NG+ where there are very few if any permanent vestiges.

You know you can buy the seeds from Molhu for 1600 vigor ?

Still NG+ without vestiges is bad either way.

Yeah... I'd be in NG+ already if it wasn't for that, in my opinion, stupid decision. I'm sticking to helping other players (or I would if 8/10 of my attempts to connect would not end with disconnecting).

Playing ng+. I don't find it to be a "massive issue"

It isn't unless you want to go for the Umbral ending.

Currently doing that one. It still is not a massive issue, just a mild annoyance.

I agree that this method of 'increased difficulty' for NG+ is a huge copout. Sure, it makes the game take longer to finish, but it's just filler time due to having to farm seeds, backtrack a ton when you overlook something, or running across three zones to get some random item needed to finish an NPC side quest.

Going after NPC quests or moving out of a linear path is just unbearable, thanks to dev's "brilliant" idea of removing the permanent vestiges.
I just hope it doesn't take too long until we have a mod correcting this atrocity for NG+, since devs seem to be deaf to 99.99% of the player base about this and insist on pretending that is fun.

Still "90%" of the posts on steam don't represent all the users who bought the game.

It is longer than without vestiges, yes, but still faster than you normal first time walkthrough. At this point you supposed to memorize the map and plan your route.

Also "farming seeds". Like lmao, you get increased "souls" on ng+, you kill literally a couple of mobs and you already have money for seeds. Plus you get them along the way when you kill you know what. You can literally spawn at Bellroom and kill either 1 mob next to it or kill pilgrims there and that's your seed.

You may like the no vestige in NG+ and pretend you are blind and can't see that almost everyone else is complainng about it, but it doesn't change this reality.

Again? Everyone WHO?
I've seen the same discussion when people want difficulty levels in Dark souls "ehy the VAST majority of us want an easy mode". Okay.
