Report a translation problem
1. Wither damage is it's own resistance, so something that heavily resists physical will likely be fully susceptible (or more susceptible) to wither..
2. It makes getting ruins easier, because if any enemy gets fully withered you can lamp kill them for a guaranteed rune drop.
Though aye not sure myself.
I'm using the Abiding Defender sword and it gets its Wither damage from its Radiant scaling, which is a nice way to do more damage to things that resist Holy with a Radiant build.
High Wither damage resistance actually seems pretty uncommon, so it tends to absolutely merk bosses, too. Not sure why, seeing as Harrower armor has tons of wither resistance, but putting Umbral Weapon on Pieta's Sword oddly destroyed Harrower Dervla when I fought her... Maybe it's the Smite procs stacking.
Oh, also, since Wither is Umbral damage it scales insanely high due to generally getting double Radiance+Inferno. The Lost Berescu catalyst is bonkers.
