Saintly Quintessence missing bug

Are Saintly Quintessence health upgrades for the Sanguinarix miss able? I have 19 of the 20 Saintly Quintessence and have double check all 20 locations about 4 times including after developers have released patches.

All 20 locations no longer have that halo effect, and no item drop is in front of them. I've finished the game (72 hours), and this is my last remaining item to get. Anyone else have this bug?

I'm not interested in NG+ until I get the final item or if at least the DEVS add vestiges to NG+.

Are you checking fextralife wiki? Cause one of 2 locations on the list are the same. Check comments there for location of the last one.

No, I wasn't using Fextra but after reviewing it I do have both of those locations including the one under the lower ledge behind bars requiring a roll while in umbral. I've cross-referenced a few YT and other full 20-location lists. It's just as if the item is gone, or never registered in my inventory. Unfortunately, this is very strange and maybe the end of my time playing LOTF

I have all of them and got the achievement, the last one was a bit tricky to find because it was in umbral under an elevator in bramis castle.

Have that as well. My only remaining guess is maybe I missed the tutorial Saintly originally as I just ran through the area to get through it ?!?!

I think i know of 1 quintessence that doesn't have the halo thing. I found a quintessence in the mines from a random pick up (yellow orb-tail on a corpse lying down).

If memory serves me right, it starts in that room where byron is like "where's me necklace". Go over the bridge, fight the flaming dude with a sword, snake with a crossbow, then go up the ladder on the right. traverse that area till you get to a crossroad,
straight will be a ladder, left will be a "bridge" like area.

Before you reach the bridge, there should be a corpse on a ledge under the bridge. Don't jump, you'll never make it. Get yourself to medium weight and below, then roll over the ledge in umbral world, and you should be able to loot the corpse for saintly thingymajingy

Any idea if these drops can be stolen by invaders e.g., say I pulled it from the statue, was invaded then died before I picked it up?

I just want to finish the darn game with all the health flask achievements.

That would possibly be it. You can access all the tutorial areas though. Just port to first bonfire and go backwards. No areas become permanently blocked off asaik. And i went back there myself just to make sure i didn't miss anything.

I would think this one as well, it's not listed on the wiki. There should be two listed under Sunless Skein but the wiki only has the one that goes back into Calrath.

I just left the Memorial vestige and went down to that little island in umbral. Started fighting some enemies and noticed that the statue was no longer "pregnant" and there was no item drop. So I'll also end up having 19/20.

Did you ever find a solution? I'm also missing one and have been to all the locations specified in various guides to check.

I also suspect that one of my "drops" went missing before i picked it up.

I wasted 30 minutes until I figured out it was a roll on that one, they need to make it more obvious for that one, such a pain.

The lower bridge platform needs to be thicker than the upper so you can tell you can drop on top of it or something.

This may have happened to me too unfortunately. Did you ever find a fix?

While I'm on PS5, I'm facing the same issue, the statues (except for the one where it's not a statue) are "flayed" don't have a halo, no item next to them, yet still missing the Quintessence.
Though I was going insane, hope this get's patched somehow, really want my trophy.

I'm also experiencing this bug/glitch. I was missing 3 when finishing the game. Watched several guides and I don't even have to go back to those locations to check. I remember finding all of them outside of 2. Which I visited and sure enough there they were. After reading how many people are stuck at 19/20.. I'm certain I didn't miss any and it's bugged in one way or another. Great.

I went through two full runs with all upgrades where sometimes I died after flaying and the item dropped on the ground. They were always there when I ran back. No comment for invasions, but I don't think it's a bug for offline players.
