Save for the the music and art direction on some things which kinda missed the mark on the tone.
By contrast in the recent released Lies of P there were several Bosses which took me hours to beat.
So far bosses in LotF are more like DS1 (vanilla, not DLC). Not very challenging, for the most part, but a fairly memorable spectacle.
Yea, I felt bosses in LoP were amazing but everything else was just okay. With LotF it's the other way around.
As for the bosses in LOTF, they're closer to DS1 in design leaning on the simpler side but still providing a challenge here and there while staying away from gimmicks which Demons Souls bosses were known for.
