Need help getting a (secret) item

The location is on the way from Vestige of Catrin to the Skinstealer boss. You come across this room:

The screenshot is taken from the middle of the room. There's a double axe guy and a protected staff guy on the upper right, you entered from the upper left.

Under the bridge leading to the location of the mentioned enemies is another floor with some loot. In the "real" world it's protected by a metal grid, you must transition to Umbral to see it like this:

How do you get there? I've tried jumping about 15 times but I either jump too far, landing on the bridge, or too short, falling down. Has someone managed to do it? If so how and what's the loot?

It's a difficult spot to clean out first and in Umbral there's a moth lady and lots of spawning enemies, too, so quite stressful.

Don't jump down you won't reach there. If you roll down you can make it as you get more distance covered. I got it this way.

Have you tried rolling?

Thanks guys for the help, made it first try. Gee, next time I need to jump somewhere in real life I'll consider "rolling" there first.
But should have remembered that from DS 1 ...

I sprinted forward off the left edge in Umbral, where the platform is slightly longer, and made it.

I think the Umbral Belly over there is bugged to be pre-soulflayed, because there is one right above the quintessence...
