Inferno is a terrible stat
Completed the game twice now. Almost completed it a third time. Inferno was the hardest. Everything is resistant to Inferno. You get all your spells at mid to end game. Everything is resistant to Inferno. Yes, I said that twice. It sucks.

Seriously - why is everything resistant to it? And no, I don't care about "muh lore". This is entirely about what feels good in the game. Inferno feels like ass.

Omfg.. well, now I want to do an inferno run hahaha

Don't get so excited, the summons are thrash tier, the Holy spells have a much better summon(Pieta Summon), which is an actual non stationary summon as opposed to the dogs who act as flamethrower turrets that often don't even spawn fully and you get just 1 dog out of 3.

Also, no, not only Rhogar enemies are resistant to it.

Here's everyu resistant to fire enemy;
-ALL RHOGAR, which is 30% of the enemies in the game btw
-MOST HOLY(Not normal human, HOLY enemies). Roughly a 20% of the enemies in the game
-ALL UMBRAL EXCEPT THE GIANT HEAD(Which is roughly 40% of the enemies in the game)

What does that leave you? Only NORMAL human enemies are weak to fire, and Ice enemies are NEUTRAL to fire, not even weak.
It's such a huge oversight, and everyone saying Inferno is fine and it's a skill issue; I also play with Inferno perfectly fine, but you should get off your high horses and try playing a Radiant mage, and you'll see what actually being OP is, and how weak you are in comparison since everything is resistant to fire.

All radiance needs to steamroll the game is the imbue, rest is just pretty bling bling and overkill. As much as Holy was worthless in the end in Elden Ring as much OP it is in this game.

Holy was freaking strong in Elden Ring, clearly you don't know how to optimise it.
The issue was how the last two bosses make holy damage impossible to use against them.

Most of the main bosses for Elden Ring (basically all demi gods) are resistant to Holy, which is why it's deemed a bad element in Elden Ring.

Dunno how you are managing to fail with inferno, i dumpstered the entire game with it, i was thinking it was OP most of the time. I absolutely savaged multiple bosses on first attempt by just casting the meteor spell a few times (cataclysm?)

Its slow starting though, takes a while to get the OP spells. But fireball helps a lot with annoyingly placed early game mobs.

Ahhh, I got you. I thought they ran around and stuff. Do they explode when they die like the non-summon ones?

No, they just appear, show you how useless they are, disappear, and you un-equip them. :)

its not that inferno is bad per say , its just that everything else is so much stronger for same or less investment and with way better availability on weapon and spell early on or through out the game...

As a inferno enjoyer the buffs was the most beneficial to me + the fallen lord's sword unga bunga mode , but on other bosses that is not fire resistant the infernal dogs and infernal surge is broken lol

Given how fast you can swing that thing and it's reach, on top of scaling off radiance stat, yeah it's pretty potent.
Yeah, Pieta's is incredibly busted, it's one of the strongest weapons in the game if not the strongest.

Incredibly high scaling, reach, speed and damage. It doesn't care if the enemy is resistant to holy, they just die in 4 swings anyway lol.

Add Radiant Weapon and the on-built Smite and yeah.

As I said before, you say that because you don't know any better, trust me.

Radiance has Pieta's summons(Which are broken and melt bosses), it has all the buffs the Inferno has and more, it has heals, almost nothing is resistant to holy, and it has the one best spell in the game...RADIANT ORB.

This thing, you can throw forward or to the ground, and it'll damage everything it hits per second, but if you stay inside of it, you get healed, just because it can. xD

There's also, like I said, all the damage mitigations+Regenerations+The Conflagration with infinite range, etc.

Radiance is just better in every sense, it's obvious the Devs just like Radiance more.

Dude, nobody cares about you simping for radiance. We get it, it's broken, blah blah. The point was that inferno is a valid strategy, can get the job done and is in no way useless. We cool now?

Simping for radiance? I'm sooooooo sorry you can not read, but I am complaining that Inferno is very bad in comparison because I want inferno to be better, because I like inferno much better.

Put your head back inside your ass if you're not even willing to accept inferno is worse just simply because there are too many enemies who reduce damage off of it by 50% or 25%.

Yes, you can OBVIOUSLY beat the game with inferno. You can also, LO AND BEHOLD, beat the game with the wooden bucket fisticufs. This does not make the weapon decent or good.

But what can I say, private profile trolls who can't read will do their thing as always.

Do you have amulet Rhogar's Delight - Increase fire damage and fire defense?

I can get the job done with a level one and bare hands, your point?

I think a lot of like me made the mistake thinking Pyric Cultist is a caster class. Also I think inferno spells are less likely to be unlocked with blind walk through. I went with Inferno and radiance build afterward, there is also a problem that inferno and radiance scaling weapons are available after mid-end game.
