If so, that means you get two fast travel points at a time?
A checkpoint system "You" control is bad? Golly, what did you want, a vestige every 10 feet?
That is correct, 1 seed, 1 main hub active at any given time.
That's right. So it looks people will be planting seeds like they were getting ready for a harvest.
Its not too bad not having the fixed vestiges, but it is annoying if you have to jump to multiple places to complete a questline.
You get to keep the one in the hub area (Skyrest), the one at Adyr's Shrine, and one with seeds. You can always buy more seed from Mohr, as you do get significantly more vigor in NG+ (last boss just gave me 200k vigor)
As for weapon upgrading, its best to prepare your build before jumping to NG+, as the blacksmiths story progress resets, and NG+ seems to be balanced around you having a +10 (or + 5 boss weapon) weapon
I'm actually excited for that. This game is the first since Dark Souls 1 where I'm actually afraid of losing my currency. I felt like all the other souls game were too generous with checkpoints but this will make me think a lot more if I should fight on and risk it all or run back and cash out.
The basegame almost had me feeling that way since I realized vestiges were placed far from each other and they want you to use a resource for safety. It didn't take me long to realized those safety resources are easy to farm though. They capped it at 5 which is good that it's capped at all but I really think 1 should have been the cap. You already get those red crystal things to heal anyway which makes HP not an issue so I'm sure I'll be able to make it feel easy still but any increase in danger is a plus to me.
