If that doesn’t work, please try deleting your PSOs by following the steps below:
a. Go to: "X:\Users\MYUSER\AppData\Local\LOTF2\Saved\"
b. Delete the *.UPIPELINECACHE file
c. Right click on the game. Select ‘Properties’ - ‘Installed Files’ - Click on "Verify Integrity of Caché"
every time i rolled or did an action etc i would lose 1 to 2 frames, and this fixed that.
I'm not talking about the occassional stutter. I was fine up until that patch. The shader cache became invalidated and the game isn't making a new one. That is the problem and that stutter is terrible.
This works 100% for the shader stuttering issue was insane how strong the stuttering was and I was already suspecting it to be tied to the game not recompiling shaders after updating my gpu driver.
This really helped :
* In Nvidia Control Panel set the Low Latency mode to ON
In the Grafics Setting of the Game :
* Turn Vsync ON
* Set the FPS to your monitors refresh rate and not to unlimited (In my case 60Hz)
* Set Nvidia Reflex to ON
It runs very very smooth now
I run it in Fullscreen mode
