So far, in this game, most weapons have either 60, 80, 100, or 120 on status effects. Rare exceptions might have like 150 or 200, and I think the buckets have something like 15.
So it seems like 60 is the lower of the numbers, so that tells me a weapon with 60 status is low. Like...bottom of the barrel low. Its going to take a number of hits to apply that status effect with something as low as 60.
So the first enemy would need 2 hits 60 + 60 is 120 and 120 > 100. The second enemy would need 17 hits to get over that 1000 threshold. And the third enemy would never bleed no matter how many times you hit them.
When you check weapons with status build up, they generally tend to have smaller amounts with higher attack speed. Grand weapons, such as Bloody Glory, have highest Bleed build-up I know about but the game is bloody slow and heavy.
